Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to my house panther's whiskers in my face or his stabby little murder mittens lovingly but painfully kneading my arm. It is obviously revenge for all the times I invade his personal space when he's just chilling. Turnabout is fair play. Yesterday morning my internet was out and I checked on my phone to see about reporting an outage to Comcast. Their site told me there were no outages in my area, and they detected no problems with my service. "WTF Comcast" I thought, not for the first time, before pulling my modem out from behind the sofa to restart it. Turns out there was cat puke on it. For once it wasn't Comcast's fault. It was one of these two little bastards. #CatsOfMastodon #Caturday #Cats I'm not much of a photographer, so if the lighting in a photo is this good, it's because the cat chose it. He made me chase him around until he finally sat down in the light and resigned himself to another portrait. I take his picture a lot. He hates picture time. This is our relationship. Best friends. I don't know how, considering they are two unrelated former ferals who showed up independently, but they're best friends. |
