What am I supposed to do with this? One of us is able to sleep nicely. The other doesn't even look like a cat. #TeethOutTuesday #CatsOfMastodon #Cats A very relaxing #Caturday. I briefly interrupted my nap to go downstairs to sing along to the humans playing the piano. However, there was an unapproved, non-household human there, so I felt a bit shy. I stared at him for a while to establish that he was OK. I'm now back to doing what I do best. #CatsOfMastodon So, we went to see James the vet today. I was dignified in my distress at the car and cat carrier. Eric was not. He screamed. He weed everywhere. He tried to dig his way out through wee soaked newspaper. In good news, my heart murmur and slightly arthritic shoulder have not got worse. James also noticed that Eric is not a domestic shorthair and told him he has put weight on. I am officially not fat. We were both hyperventilating on the way home. #CatsOfMastodon #Cat #Vet So far, #Caturday is going well. This morning, I went galloping with Eric in the garden and then I ate food. After that, I hugged the preferred human, accepted light stroking from the tall one, sat on a cat scratcher and now I'm snoozing in my box under the radiator. The only issue is that the humans keep closing the back door, so I can't go in and out as I want. #cat #CatsOfMastodon We had treats. I got confused by the churu stick as it wasn't on a plate. Eric found an inventive way to eat the dreamies. #Cat #CatsOfMastodon It was a nice day yesterday, albeit a little bit chilly, so I ventured outside to do my rounds. Here's me scratching the outside scratcher so you can admire my golden, athletic form. I am not at full stretch, plus I do need the winter fur in this weather, so don't be mistakenly thinking I have a tubby belly. #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon #Cat :ablobcatwave: We have catnip as compensation for the humans putting snow outside. I was enjoying mine but had to intervene with Eric, who was abusing the rug in an unseemly manner. Then, he attacked me for no reason and I have lost some of my luxurious fur. :ablobcatcry: #CatsOfMastodon #Cat #Cats A very upsetting thing happened: I found Eric's tennis ball and totally forgot myself and tried to play with it. It moved, which was terrifying. I had to bravely run away to a place of safety (the bed near the preferred human). #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon #Cat Happy #Caturday! I've just been out to scratch the wooden post, but the preferred human has injured her shoulder, so I came back very promptly. #CatsOfMastodon #Cat The cleaners put clean bedding on yesterday. I spent some time fixing it to make it more suitable for cats, but Eric has taken it to another level. #Cat #CatsOfMastodon #StormHenk I missed #Caturday again due to the stupid humans abandoning me AGAIN to go to visit family. How much family do they have? I don't abandon them to go and see my family. I was inside all day with Eric and no food. |
