So, vim is basically the most BASED editor of all. Because: it has mode system + cool config file management + extensible + uganda = BASED. There's a list of "other" editors and why they're suck.
1. emacs. Bullshit + go eat nails
2. VSCode. M$ + bullshit +default UI/UX from hell + spawns fucking .vscode directory in your project directory
3. nano. Default hotkeys from butthole + not extensible + L
4. ed. ED IS THE STANDARD TEXT EDITOR!
5. Any IDE. nuff said
6. Sublime. Proprietary lmao
7. Atom. See 2
