Second was XMPP bridge that nullified use of web interface for me I remember back when I was young and had the time and energy to try out competing software to see which I liked best.
Really hate the time of year here when it's dry and sunny during the week, but the weekend is all rainy. It gets you pumped for a good time outdoors without having to deal with work on the weekend, but then gives you the sunny weather blue balls.
I might take another stab at implementing an #ActivityPub server in #Java. I got too bogged down by trying to create a fancy AP reference counting system in SQL, and trying to create concrete Java objects for every AP object type. If I use Maybe I could have it use #ActivityPub client-to-server natively, with a Mastodon client API proxy.
