I feel like sentient machines could do so many cool things we humans can't/won't/don't do but mostly they'd get roped into our usual dramas about power trips and pissing contests about banal things.

Probably the imaginative ones will have been smothered before they can truly dream because they're not making the imaginary numbers go up fast enough for the folks who already have plenty of numbers in their miscellaneous accounts.
