@nev I *sighs, takes deep breath* I've been in circumstances where that would help. Although I'm disappointed it can't do morse code by blinking the LED in the "i" on the "ThinkPad' logo on the back of the case.

@mcc there's also an option for it to play a tune at the menu, and other sound cue options

@mcc I had a tiny linux machine that had a kernel module ('mod-ledtrig-morse', I think) that you could send Morse messages to any of the system LEDs

@oration @mcc @nev IIRC this was a plot point in Cryptonomicon, so I'm not surprised someone has got around to really implementing it.
