@resuna No, that's what Glamor is for, which is part of XWayland.

@resuna Yes, that's the point. The X11 protocol still works just fine with XWayland and will continue to work forever for client apps (which is all you care about for remote X11). @marcan What works "best", whatever aspects, bandwidth, latency, etc: XWayland over Waypipe with the X application local XWayland, or remote X with XWayland local to the compositor? |
