@marcan I've given Wayland a go because of these posts and it's surprising how actually usable it is now. I'm on KDE, so it's been nice seeing their Wayland support get truly good (I tried a year or so ago and it wasn't great iirc). I don't know if it's placebo, but scrolling in Firefox feels noticeably smoother.

The only issue I've ran into so far is that Chromium programs run at 60fps instead of 144fps. Having to set environment variables for a load of stuff is also annoying, but I guess that's the joys of Arch 🙃

@jmshrv @marcan Same for me. I tried Wayland on KDE a few times over the last years, but there was always something that bugged me (e.g. all windows were 0x0 in size after waking up from suspend). I just switched again because of these posts and now everything works really well without any problems!
