I realized that I can use the iOS app on my mac. It works a bit better than I expected.

This whole "run iOS apps on your M1 mac" thing feels to me like more of "because we can" so far. @grishka but it's good to have. I run the iPad version of "Siskin IM" (a Jabber client) on my M1 mac because no other clients worked well from me. There's a client from the same company but I had some issues with it. The iOS version works really well. Except I can't enter a newline ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
Though the weird part is that it runs in an iPhone-sized window that doesn't resize. But menus that open out of buttons are native for example.
And the obviously-desktop stuff like dragging an image into the compose screen or pasting one doesn't work. Not sure if it can work at all.
