I made an incremental game. It's called Utopia Clicker:

@darius cool basic mechanic but it really needs a prestige loop or to shine, gotta give folks something to chase obsessively after

@darius husband was delighted. sister, on the other hand, satisficed after achieving Utopia, so I had to show her 😂 She was just like "oh, I achieved Utopia! That's nice." (I feel like I should add that she is the high-powered "worldly" person of the two of us, which made it extra charming ) @darius I can always count on you and your work to make me smile (and think!!!). 🙏🏽 Thank YOU! ☺️ @darius I was going to say it should have a mode where you toggle a switch titled "engage compassion" or some other aspect of modern governance that is largely lacking and then the next click immediately wins but it seems like that would be overkill for the game's scope. Thank you. It's lovely. @darius My attempt at minimal code (and iterations) to complete the game: for (let i = 0; i < 3094; i++) { @darius Nice. I kept going till I got past the table of contents just to see if it also had the main text, and stopped there once I verified that. I'm hoping this means I have a better chance of surviving inadvisable whale pursuits ("ok, you're good, heading back to shore"). |
@darius i chuckled roundly
