Gregory's Serveri got a several thousand words into the "we rebuilt mastodon but twitter scale" thing but i still have no idea what architecture they're trying to describe or why it's good

@dansup @shadowfacts and they mean ActivityPub along with maybe a few Mastodon specific things.... also bots on a likely local network are no real diff compared to clients that are mobile and on slow unreliable networks. Next to the bots that try to do reads/mirrors the whole time... ;) |
