People today on Twitter be like: "Banning black and trans people + subsidizing fascist accounts + putting all of the basic safety features behind a paywall + making moderation a thing of the past + having a literally nazi billionaire as the platform owner, all of that was mildly annoying, sure. But I draw the line at renaming the app."

@nileane and let's not forget how they fired most of their staff for no fucking reason and the very few people left are likely immigrants who need to keep this job for their visas

@nileane@nileane.fr Dans mon cas, c'est les limites qui ont tout tué (après que j'ai migré sur le fédivers, mais je n'arrivais pas à quitter Twitter pour autant). Maintenant qu'il va changer le nom, ça me donne une bonne excuse de dire que Twitter étant mort, mon compte meurt avec, et poser une date (si ça a déjà été annoncé ?)
