@grishka then you are living in the wrong city. Here in the Basque country its a cozy 10 degrees these days. But instead it rains all the time in winter, and there's no snow :(

@felix I'll take rain over snow anytime! Water from rain dries in a day with no trace. Snow just stays there, piled everywhere, seemingly forever. Also sticks to everyone's shoes so the floor in every heated space where people don't use shoe covers becomes really gross really fast.

Actually I'm contemplating about flying to Thailand in January for a week or two. Was told that they've reopened and they recognize the Russian vaccine.

@felix I went outside for the first time in several days and I can say with confidence that I hate the very concept of winter existing with every little particle of my soul.

@grishka that looks so nice. Maybe we should switch places. Definitely no snow here, but dont underestimate the rain. This time of year it doesnt dry because its raining almost constantly. I just went out wearing a rainjacket, but my pants and underpants got soaked 😂

@felix it only *looks* nice. It's actually slippery as hell and this drives me nuts as I usually walk relatively fast. I can only walk my usual speed without the risk of slipping up and falling on the roadway itself. Also my nose leaks from it being so cold. Asked doctors about this multiple times, they all say not much can be done.

@grishka maybe you need better shoes. And sliding on the ice is extremely fun. But maybe your body isnt made for winter, thats unlucky.
