@liaizon That is largely my experience with Reddit. I didn't use it as a social platform, but as a limited-use forum for gaming. Even then it's a ton of mental filtering to separate the wheat from the chaff, like hot takes and people who don't bother to search before they post. BUT some people would post valuable info that isn't available anywhere else. Sometimes. Now Reddit is twitterating and I am hoping Lemmy isn't going to become Reddit, Part Two. |
