Instagram has a new brand font and has this intro page about it: https://about.instagram.com/brand/type

I discovered this from a post by @chrismessina: https://t2.social/chris/status/75616 and it seems striking that the first character they are showing off is also apparently the logo of their new microblogging app (currently called Theads, P92 or Barcelona)

Seems to me that they might be seriously taking this new text posting first direction after the failure of their metaverse attempt.
