this reddit migration into the fediverse sure is at a weird time, things felt very chill here quite recently since the last big migration from twitter died down and now this meta thing is happening and it feels like there are fireworks going off around the fediverse

@liaizon I feel a bit lost in all this mess. Torn between: this i s great, a lot of ppl will join the fediverse and the fear of losing a moderately safe space to a big corp. The first is from a priviledged users perspective imho, the second from bipoc, queer and other communities at risk as well as developers.
We should have some possibility to openly discuss the situation.
