@fperson of course it was. There was an entire episode in season 5 dedicated to a social networking thing called Smithereen. Except it was about microblogging, it was centralized, it had way too many employees and a nice office in London.
@grishka@fperson hmm, just noticed this. It probably isn't an issue but you might want to check about trademarks etc, if Smithereen actually does get some traction you could come into problems at some point.
