@liaizon @technology I didn't know it was possible to post to #Lemmy communities from the #Fediverse, that's awesome! @realcaseyrollins @technology yeah you just have to tag the communities in the post. and it grabs the first sentence as the title of the thread! looking at the same post from: seems like monero town is running an older version that doesn't support hashtags in posts @liaizon @technology I wasn't big on twitter, but when Mastodon got popular in the wake of the twitter migration I saw an opportunity to capture back some of the joy in connecting with others that I felt had been kind of robbed over the years. Have been quite enjoying running a mastodon instance and now that lemmy and kbin are getting popular I want to keep things going! |
Hello to you, too.
I've been thinking about joining the Fediverse for a long time now but was always too lazy to take the first step. Now with the troubles over at YOU-KNOW-WHICH-PLATFORM, I finally did it.
Tried a few different instances over the couple two weeks until I finally settled with my current one. Communities seem to be generally much nicer and less toxic. Glad to be part if this - should have done it much sooner!
