hey @mariusor when I look up your handle @marius @brutalinks.tech it sends me to @marius @federated.id but then that doesn't link back to https://brutalinks.tech/~marius and opening the posts outside of mastodon results in a link to the raw json
do you have a page that describes what sort of federation you have in place and what is still being figured out?
@liaizon yes, when I built all of that I didn't really plan to have it super compatible with Mastodon, which assumes that a HTML representation of the Actor can be found at their ID url, which in this case doesn't exist. The actor has the correct URLs in its url property, but Mastodon doesn't use that (I have a ticket open for that)
So overall federation with Mastodon is not very good due to multiple issues on both sides. :(
