Gregory's Server@fasterthanlime the cat is complaining about the small size of the litter box and is doing their business where they aren't stuck in the cramped dark?
Also their face is scrunchy and cute. This is normal behavior.

@fasterthanlime @frummidge tbh, the litter box looks small for the cat (based on that one pic). Try taking the cover off for a few days and see if the cat sits in there fully then. Cats really want enough space when doing their business but unfortunately most litter boxes are actually undersized. @frummidge it's always complaining about something but I promise the litter box isn't "small" by any stretch of the imagination.
perhaps there's "gigantic" boxes out there though.
