@morenonatural one small problem. "Decentralized social network" is presumably homogenous, like, say, Diaspora. E-mail is completely homogenous as well.
The Fediverse is not, it's heterogenous. This makes it a novel entity. It bridges multiple "decentralized social networks", serving as a "network of networks", or, well, "meta".
