@scarnecchia @Mastodon I know I'm a broken record, but I will say it again: #Mastodon admins MUST be diligent to ensure that state-sponsored bad actors do NOT get into their instances in the first place to spread ANY kind of chaos or abuse. Not just by quote posts but by disinfo/inciting panic etc. Onboarding via one server only can be a great way to streamline the process to verify sus-looking traffic. Or it can be an ignored one-click solution to drive the #fediverse straight into a nightmare.
