Gregory's Server@paul Lol, so people pay for a blue checkmark to "verify" they are who they are, but then they don't actually show the blue checkmark because they don't want to show that they are the kind of suckers who pay for a social network??? Like, why not just not pay then? I'm really confused.

 If you are a scammer advertising a scam, it is worth paying $7 for a Blue account so that your tweets get priority in other users' timelines; but you do not want those users to know that the tweet showed up only because you paid for it. |
