@yogthos I mean, I do know this, but I like the idea of a slow-motion video actually slowing down light itself instead of, y'kno, what it actually does @efi in this case we're just seeing the movement of the glowing gas, but there are cameras that can see light wave propagation though, which is indeed mind blowing https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZoImsCcgi5Q @yogthos goddess, I had seen these clips, but I didn't know how they made them, now it makes sense |
@efi nothing can travel faster than light in a vacuum, but light does not travel instantly. Also, the speed of light depends on the medium. In some circstances it's even possible for other particles to travel faster than light https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cherenkov_radiation
