(for comparison: Smithereen renders the news feed in around 100 ms and I consider that to be on the slower side)

@grishka @shitpisscum Nope. Just the standard definition of end-to-end encryption. The servers can't decrypt anything. The keys are only ever client side. You can learn more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End-to-end_encryption
