We just wish that there was a moment in time between having been treated like children and being treated like out-of-touch geriatrics. We had Boomer presidents for 28 years and when that streak was finally broken it was because we elected someone *too old* to be a Boomer. @CarlMuckenhoupt @mausmalone @robinhouston if elon musk does a coup does that count as "president" or is it something else at that point @CarlMuckenhoupt @mausmalone @robinhouston @mcc we might get a Gen X president the same way we got our first (probably only) Silent president, Biden--when they're pretty old. (We can hope. If you're betting on one for 2024, it's probably DeSantis.)    @robinhouston @mcc I guess Generation Yuzz thinks Generation Y is “old people who don’t think they’re old” Sounds about right for what kids think of their parents (… “Yuzz” is the letter that comes after Z in the extended alphabet of “On Beyond Zebra”; Gen Yuzz is also known as Gen Α, with a capital Greek letter alpha - α) @robinhouston @mcc my teen and cousins noticed me scrolling on something and collectively said “twitter” then one said - “no that’s not twitter what is it?” (Mostly because I couldn’t get a word in edgewise) I didn’t say what it was to up the intrigue - so it’s only a matter of time now… |
