@grishka Is it required for a full install of smithereen? I sort of hate that that’s a requirement for mastodon to work and I have seen that be a main stumbling block to getting mastodon set up before.
@liaizon it's not strictly *required*, but then your users won't be able to reset their passwords. There's currently no email confirmation for new accounts, but I do plan to add it as an option in the future.
