Many things are missing and consider everything a work in progress. @ivory That’s awesome! Super happy to see that kind of demand for y’all’s stuff! Also, happy holidays! @ivory at least the quick theme switcher made it in!  @ivory I will never get there in time, but I take solace in the knowledge that thousands of you are making sure the app works properly for me when it is finally released 😄 @ivory Must be a scam. I clicked on the link 13 minutes after the post, and the (obviously fake) TestFlight said that the beta is already full. I will sue you AND John Mastodon. @ivory Thank you! What a beautiful app. If this is the alpha I can’t imagine what the final product will look like. Merry Christmas!  @ivory come on and release it already. Or make the alpha like 1,000,000... full in <40min 🤷♂️ @ivory darn. 45 minutes late and you are full. Have fun with the onslaught, I’m out. It’s simply frustrating. @hrbf we are trying to get the app to market asap so everyone can freely try it. It’s a good problem for us to have, but it’s also out of our control. We normally don’t even have this many alpha/beta testers for our products. This is kind of a special case for us. It will be out soon enough. 🙏 @ivory I understand of course. Software development takes its time. And I’d rather see a properly working application than a hurried half-baked attempt. Still, I wanted to let you know how this rather absurd situation reflects on the perception of your company. After three attempts I couldn’t get into the alpha. You’re not owing me anything but it’s annoying. I’ve lost all interest in Ivory for now. @ivory *sigh* well at least now I’ve gotten smart and turned on notifications of toots here for the next opportunity. @ivory Tweetbot has been a favorite and Ivory looks great too. Thanks for the beta access!  @ivory Hey I just wanted to say thank you for your work on this app so far. I got in during the last alpha drop and it’s so great already, even this early. Merry Christmas.  @ivory wish I could turn on toot alerts so that whenever this account posts something I get a notification. Am I missing a feature? #featurerequest ? @KGHtheII turn on notifications in the ivory settings and and you can enable notifications when a specific account posts from their profile (the gear icon in the top right).  @ivory I missed this round, but super awesome Christmas present for the community! Excited to see more slots open in the future and/or a public beta! I’ve seen people talk about how many innovative Mastodon clients there are…but so far I’ve found things really rough out here. Testing a Tapbots alpha couldn’t be much rougher! @simonkrull TestFlight only allows 10k spots and we are already getting close. @ivory cannot wait to start using this. I lost track of how long I’ve been a Tweetbot user. @PkrPho it’s temporarily in the search tab. We haven’t implemented a designated place yet.  @ivory any chance of releasing more slots? I am trying every single Mastodon client I can, and I’d not heard of Ivory until today. @ivory do you have any plans on releasing more access slots for the new year? Fingers crossed. |
