 Just. How does Gboard think next word suggestion works? I type the name of my street and it has learned to suggest "Ave" next, then I type "Portland" and "OR" or "Oregon" are only suggested 25% of the time, but "CA" is always an option. Yes I live in Portland, CA. I miss Swype. Still haven't found a good alternative. 7 comments | Expand all CWs
 @darius I still use swiftkey on iOS even after microsoft bought it and even after apple added native swipe typing mostly because I like being able to make “swift key veterans for truth” jokes but I’ve generally been happy with its suggestions too  @darius I use a terrible Foss keyboard that I genuinely can't recommend. (openboard.) mobile keyboards: bad!  Even worse for Russian. Has no idea about some word forms so you have to teach it them — every one of them. I type my first name and it suggests my last name almost never. But it always suggests "miles" (presumably because Darius Miles is a basketball player), but never capitalized, only lowercase!
