@Gargron @vriska Multiple hundreds of degrees hot water is not possible in either temperature scale unless you're in a high-pressure chamber, it'll steam right off down to the boiling point.
The coffee was kept at 190 Β°F β 90 Β°C, just below the boiling point, while the hot water in your pipes is usually not allowed to be hotter than around 55 Β°C for safety reasons. |
@vriska I think most people are not aware the coffee was heated to multiple hundreds of degrees. I don't think not knowing that means you're past the point of salvation
