I'm now confident about my extensions to #ActivityPub, so I'm finally okay with people hosting their own Smithereen instances, but there's a number of features that need to be implemented to make this viable, namely:

- CWs
- Blocking users and domains, user-, group-, and instance-level
- Password reset
- ...which requires being able to send emails
- Some barebones moderation tools like deleting posts and blocking local accounts
