@ajroach42 most people using social media don’t even know what decentralized means nor do they care, though. Honestly the reason why it’s a viable replacement is just because it’s here and it has a reasonably large user base already. People don’t want to use FB or instagram because they’re outdated and bc of Zuckerberg and the right wing ivermectin ppl, and there isn’t really an alternative other than this and Hive. And Hive won’t be able to meet capacity.

Most people don't know anything about the way this system works.

That's why I talked about the way it works.

The only reason it's here, and can have a large user base, and can support new users, is because it is decentralized.

Most people don't have to care, but I don't thing that makes the rest of what I said less impactful.
