I see, after a way too long hiatus, we've started questioning the authority of centralized platforms again!

Uh... While we're on that trajectory, maybe it's time to start questioning the authority of some of our other centralized entities that could be a bit of a problem down the line? I mean, like IANA/ICANN, maybe? Possibly, DNS?

Just sayin'.

Suppose we have a DNS alternative (my #ALFIS), but what about TLS?

@drq проблема в том, что они сделаны централизованными не просто так, а потому, что они контролируют глобальные пространства имён. Как то urn, домены, mime и другие менее известные. Функция там в том, чтобы они не повторялись и подчинялись определенным правилам. Они не выполняют эту функцию разве?
