In all honestly, it just started as a small test born out of curiosity after I saw several posts claiming Mastodon communities are hostile to minorities. Through the day, my interest has grown in many other ways, such as the community's response to Twitter-like engagement posts (which was actually unintentional), to how much sever choice affects a minority's experience in the platform.
