@ajroach42 Well, I'd imagine when your home server goes away, or something happens in your neck of the woods, it impacts performance or potentially wipes your feed. With BlocksNet everything is stored everywhere (sorta). @ajroach42 Well, in a situation like Mastodon, you can't really claim persistence of service or content. It comes down to the server you joined and if it still is up. With BlocksNet the entirety of the userbase is the server and storage. @ajroach42 Because the only thing that could destroy it then would be people simply not using it. @aeonix_aeon and that's good? What's BlocksNet? Sounds suspiciously like the kind of thing that would boil the ocean. |
