I'm going to contribute to the Patreon because this is the business model that I want as well. I don't want an algorithm deciding how services should be paid for. Subscription is the way to go.

@ajroach42 that was my next question, so are you suggesting that I support my instance over the general mastodon. The only thing is that I chose my instance by hazard and mastodon by intention.  Lots of people support the development of the mastodon protocol. Maybe not enough, but a lot. Fewer people support the individual instance administrators, who shoulder most of the burden of new users. @ajroach42 thank you so much for your help. Could you tell me how I find my instance's Patreon. Really a bit new for me. I hope. They are helping you find supports as well. |
@kars Which patreon? The general mastodon one? (Good) or your instance admin? (better, IMO)
