In 1863 a song for german workers movement was composed. A famous rhyme of it was
"Mann der Arbeit aufgewacht und erkenne deine Macht. Alle Räder stehen still, Wenn Dein starker Arm es will. "
Means roughly:
Man of labor awake and know thy power. All wheels stand still when your strong arm wills it.
