Gregory's ServerDid Mastodon change anything about how it verifies signatures and/or handles Follow activities? I can't follow a Mastodon actor no matter what I try. I could before, but not now. I get 202 Accepted, and then nothing. No notification, not added to the followers list, and no Accept{Follow}. But posts come through with no problems, if you follow my actor from Mastodon. Might that be because posts go into the sharedInbox but follows into the actor's personal inbox?

@Gargron @nightpool yeah, that I figured out a couple months ago and everything started working again after I added it. Right now posts and likes do federate in both directions, but follows do not. There's no problem with my nginx/SSL/DNS configuration because I received both these posts. I'm out of ideas at this point. (I'm writing this from mastodon.social btw) |
@grishka @nightpool POST requests required the Digest header now, but I think if that was the problem I would not be seeing your message..?
