@Mastodon Sorry for my stupid question... But is this about the Mastodon app?
I am still searching for an app that let's me read my teamline where I left the app.
Even on Tusky, which I use now, when I click the 'load more' - button, it jumps to the latest toots, instead of just adding the toots above where I was reading.

I hope I could explain my problem well and that someone can help me.

How do y'all keep up with new roots in your timeline?!?

@FennaS @Mastodon this is about the server version which each instance runs.

for the app, the official one on iOS successfully returns to previous position on the timeline for me.

i’m currently using (and preferring) Mammoth by @JPEGuin though i’m not sure it has that functionality yet

@henry @JPEGuin I'm on Android. Someone suggested Subway Tooter, so I downloaded that one.
And now I hope I can read my timeline without it jumping forward and me scrolling backward.

But thanks for your reaction, trying to help out, much appreciated.

@FennaS @Mastodon the apps I use on iOS do t have this issue @tootapp and #Metatext, but I am not sure about android
