@Mastodon My instance is currently showing as v 1.4.5 Should I assume this means it could be a while before I see an update to 4.0? @Mastodon Just upgraded my personal server. It's not that bad at all. @Mastodon Concerning 2FA, I'd like pages to let us preference which type of 2FA we'd prefer to log in with, and which are kept in reserve should we have difficulty. I have also considered if if it might be possible to use a lock which the user chooses to use which stops e-mail, password and 2FA from being changed for 12 hours after a new login. @aWanderer @Mastodon You can do that in the web version. You’ll find the option in the ••• menu next to an existing post. It opens an edit window with the existing text, which you can edit exactly as you might expect. @aWanderer @Mastodon FWIW, it tends to have more features than the app versions (such as adding a background image in profiles). It’s also quite good, especially the mobile version for phones IMO (only tried Safari for iOS personally).  @karmaso I'm fairly new myself so I could be mistaken, but I think it's up to your instance admins to install the update on your instance. Unless you host an instance, I don't think you need to do anything. That said, the new features will probably show up in-browser first. I'm guessing it could take a few weeks for the mobile clients to catch up. Mastodon 4.0 is an update to the software that powers each server. That means you’ll only get access to it when the administrator(s) running your server has time to perform the update. @Mastodon is there a plan on adding scheduling toots? it a feature i use all the time on twitter :D @Mastodon Also worth looking at is tabs if you could have tabs within the web software with different servers that your user can use in all of them would help keeping the decentralized thing and still have an overview. Look at Tweetdeck as an example =)  @Mastodon When will we be getting end-to-end encryption for DMs? Also, wondering when we will get editing on the Mobile App.
