last night I found a pile of raw cotton on its stem in the trash. it was sitting on top of a large styrofoam box of wilted arugula (much past its prime) and tucked to the side of a dumpster

I have never played with raw cotton before so I am excited to make some string and yarn

this is #solarpunk

I separated a single pod (haven't looked up what a unit of cotton is called) and it has a surprising number of seeds. if anyone would like to try growing some cotton lemme know!

@liaizon They certainly look like they could be fake. Standing in a cotton field when they're in bloom feels surreal.
