you have no idea how happy I am to see this battery meter in my menu bar. I have been using this laptop thingy for 40 days with it randomly shutting off cause the kernel didn't know it was running off battery! and another little perk is now my apple mouse has working touch scrolling thanks to this https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/drivers/hid/hid-magicmouse.c in the new linux kernel I am now running fucking thank you https://surfacelinux.com for doing the dirty work of getting this think up and running. #surfacelinux thanks to @praxeology for lending me usb power cord/brick I have gotten to 100% battery for the first time on this laptop. I guess my adapter was not pumping enough voltage thru usb to get this thing happy. |
yay typing this from a newly signed surface-linux kernel!
