Only thing keeping me off Framework is lack of Coreboot support.

@boilingsteam As someone with a Framework 16 (same iGPU), I can say that iGPU is surprisingly good!
It also get benefits from GTT (GPU dynamic memory) Said that, UMA+GTT causes other issues as well like freezing, not sure if resolved in 6.13. The whole idea is nice. @boilingsteam I don’t quite get the critic about the 'MacBook'-like trackpad (which every PC maker has these days, apart from Lenovo). When you are using physical trackpad keys, you have to first navigate your cursor to the right position and then reposition your finger to the physical key. Instead, you can just tap right there with 1-3 fingers (tap, don’t press!). Better touchpads like those by Apple also don’t have a 'click zone' but allow you to physically press everywhere. |
