@renkotsuban @itchio I used to think iwantmyname as a reliable registrar alongwith the handful of reliable registrars like Porkbun, Cloudflare, and to a certain extent Route 53.
AI claims from brands like Funko that have business repercussions need to be suable for fraud and face civil and possible criminal complaints.

We live in the most ridiculous timeline.

@renkotsuban @itchio i recently reported an actual scam, posing as a real ecommerce site, which had already made a bunch of victims along the lines of thousands of euros stolen, with proper proofs, both the the abuse address and to the client service of Ionis (1&1), and nothing but a refusal. Took a month to get a police report, then... more of no action anywhere... Then by insisting and sending the police report to their legal department final got it down. So congrats to the A.I., it's gifted.
