Is there an open source alternative to #Duolingo with support for #Esperanto?

My Esperanto has gotten quite rusty.

@pk84 If you want to express «I don't think so.», use e.g. «Mi kredas, ke ne.» (verbatim «I think that no.» or «I think that not.»). «Mi ne pensas tiel.» would mean «I don't think that way.» or «I don't think in that manner.».

@profoundlynerdy AFAIK, there are no open source clones of Duolingo. There are though other ways to teach yourself Esperanto for free. The one I can recommend most is lernu.net. (Not open source, but not as commercial as Duolingo.)

esperanto12.net is Open Source, but less extensive and last I checked of lower quality than Lernu!.

More options at esperanto.net/en/learn-esperan (View the desktop site. The mobile one seems not to display all content.)

I can suggest LibreLingo for open source alternative to Duolingo

github.com/kantord/LibreLingo

(There is no Esperanto course, but still)

@das_g @profoundlynerdy I can also recomment lernu.net. 👍

Also there is kurso.com.br/ which is quite good if I remember correctly. It isn’t #freesoftware , but it works offline and on #Linux.

#Esperanto #OpenSource

@profoundlynerdy Besides Lernu.net, There are flashcard things like Anki or Memrise.

A better method is to read books, of which there are many, at various reading levels.
