I have countless stories of Black/Brown folks DMing me and asking me why white people are SO angry on here when they are allegedly trying to get away from toxic social media spaces.
There has never been point where the fedi has deal with this obvious undercurrent of white rage.
I've had my squabbles on here and I'll probably have more LOL but one thing I can say is that 99% of them are b/c of the rage of entitled white people who believe me making a space for Black/Brown folks outside of the white gaze is an affront.
This doesn't annoy white people. It enrages them. And we've seen it time and time again.
It doesn't matter what posture I take or how nice I am or how cordial I can be.
The majority of the fedi just hates the idea of a Black fedi.
Not dislike. Hate.
