@CatherineBabault New to me, too, but it’s 20 years since I had a kitten. She doesn’t seem to mind it nearly as much as he minds his cone β€” though it does make her take baby steps when walking, which somehow makes her even more adorable. He just face-plants a lot. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

@CStamp @CatherineBabault Very much so β€” as was reflected on the invoice. Also, since I last had a cat (2019), vet clinic have turned into corporate up-sell agencies driven by guilt. Not a fan. (My previous vet retired & sold her clinic.)

@CStamp @CatherineBabault I’m not saying the standard of care is lower, but I only ever saw a tech (for intake β€” though the DVM did call with an update when they were ready), and the sign-here-to-decline-blood-work-we-don’t-really-need (@ $170/cat), etc., etc., gets to be a bit much.

@Lizette603_23 Well, they wrangled her into it at the vet’s β€” while she was anΓ¦sthetized, I presume β€” but somehow she keeps managing to get legs out through the sleeves. Getting them back in just leaves me wondering how she ever gets them out. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
