another fun fact: if you're curious how big that full res image is compared to the entire sky - imagine holding up a grain of sand at arms length and looking at it. trillions of stars in every single speck. |
fun fact: if you look at a dot in this image, and it doesn't have diffraction spikes coming off it, that's not a star; that's a whole galaxy
