@boilingsteam @BrodieOnLinux 5 minutes of my time, and a text box input of why they need to listen better can’t hurt.
how the fuck is this supposed to work. @kate @BrodieOnLinux I cringed internally when I was reading that. Is nobody at Mozilla reading the news? @ententropy @kate @BrodieOnLinux More importantly, if they're delving into AI, is there nobody on the team who actually effing understands the thing?? @BrodieOnLinux @BrodieOnLinux "Thank you for completing our survey. Can you make a donation to Mozilla? We're building a movement to make sure that the internet and technology prioritizes people over profit." Nice marketing spin there Mozilla... @BrodieOnLinux who wants to donate 25 USD to them if what you’ve come to do is complain. At least start it at five bucks or something f. @BrodieOnLinux about @mozilla I have two things to share: 1. they should just focus on Firefox now. They try to do too many things and neither of them they do properly. 2. They do not allow 1 EUR monthly, then they get nothing. I want to be fair, I try to pay as many people as possible, that is why I go by rule "If everyone gave me a dolar I would be rich" and I give people 1 buck / month. Not allowing that in a donation form is plain stupid... @dieTasse @BrodieOnLinux @mozilla I will hazard a guess that at that amount the merchant fees are too high. At 1€ they might be lucky to not lose money processing it. It would be neat if merchants offered an option to pool the costs of several small transactions, but I don't think there is enough competition for anyone to consider that atm @AuntyRed |
@BrodieOnLinux who says they are going to listen? They dont even listen to the direct feedback we give them continuously, and they think that "privacy" is compatible with their shitty telemetry installed by default in Firefox
