 @gamingonlinux It's also broken on Windows; F1 24 has seen computers BSOD on the game closing due to EA anti-cheat. Why people would ever trust EA again, I have no idea.   @gamingonlinux I have a feeling this is going to remain a specter haunting Linux gaming for some time to come. Unfortunately. |
@gamingonlinux I'm unconvinced kernel-level anticheat meaningfully improves the gaming experience for anybody. Wonder if there's any stats on that... Seems totally unnecessary and intrusive to me.
I'm a Linux gamer so it's sad to see all this mess, wouldn't surprise me if Microsoft was somehow encouraging companies to do it.
